The proposed U-Pass is a student transit pass that would offer all eligible full-time Sheridan students unlimited ridership on all municipal transit routes in Oakville, Brampton (including Züm), and Mississauga (MiWay).
How much would the U-Pass cost?
If accepted, a non-refundable U-Pass fee of $197.15 per term would be added to all eligible Sheridan student ancillary fees.
Who is eligible for the U-Pass?
All full-time students (as defined by program) would be eligible to take part in the U-Pass program. Part-time students will not be eligible to take part and would not be eligible to opt-in to the program.
When and where will voting take place?
Voting will take place online at thessu.ca from November 26 – 30. Voting will be accessible 24/7 and from any device (laptop, mobile browser, tablet). There will also be in-person voting stations available during the week for students who want to vote while on campus.
The future of transit at Sheridan is an important decision, and that’s why we’re encouraging students to get all the information they need in order to vote.
