Say Goodbye to PD4120 (WHMIS General Training)!

health and safetyAs you may be aware, Canada has aligned the current Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Program with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS), known as WHMIS 2015.

WHMIS 2015 will fully replace the previous WHMIS model as of December 1, 2018. As a result, Sheridan will be formally retiring the PD4120 – WHMIS General Training module in SLATE effective November 30, 2018. Please note that PD4123 – WHMIS 2015 module will continue to be a mandatory course that all employees must complete within 30 days of hire.
