Welcome back to all faculty members who were away from the College during May and June. In case you missed the earlier email announcement, please note that Sheridan is currently in the process of collecting employee achievements which we would like to incorporate into a video presentation that will be shown at the Welcome Back Breakfast scheduled for August 28th. The deadline for submissions from both faculty and staff is Friday, July 12th.
If you are a current graduate, newly published author, recently exhibited artist, or recipient of an external award, recognition, or honour we would like to recognize your skills, talents and energy. While time constraints prohibit us from animating every achievement that is brought to our attention, we will be including all of the submissions that we receive as part of the presentation in one way or another provided that they meet the criteria that we have outlined below.
Photos of your achievement in action are enormously helpful and greatly appreciated. In addition, we need to know the following:
Current Graduates:
- Name of the program you have completed, the credential you have earned, and the academic institution that you have graduated from.
Newly Published Authors:
- Title of your book, journal article or professional paper, date of publication, and name of the publisher.
Recently Exhibited Artists:
- Title or description of the art you created as well as the venue and the date of the exhibition.
Recipients of External Awards/Recognitions/Honours:
- Title or description of the award, recognition or honour you received, as well as name of the presenting organization and the date of the accomplishment.
To help us meet our production deadlines, kindly forward your submission and photo to Christine Randall in Human Resources at christine.randall1@sheridancollege.ca by no later than Friday July 12th. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that submissions received after this date will be included in the presentation.
