Rick Green, co-creator and star of The Red Green Show and co-founder of the comedy troupe The Frantics, is coming to Sheridan to deliver a presentation on Innovation and Creativity to students and interested members of the broader community. The event promises to be both inspiring and entertaining.

- What: Through his presentation, Rick will demonstrate that creativity is a process, an attitude and a muscle that can be improved, developed and honed throughout life.

About Rick Green:
Armed with a BSc in Physics, Rick started his career at the Ontario Science Centre where he presented shows and developed original programs, science plays and exhibits. In 1979, he left to co-found the Toronto-based comedy troupe, The Frantics, which enjoyed a long run of performing and recording success. In 1989, he joined Steve Smith to launch The Red Green Show, which ran for many years and was a hit in both Canada and the U.S.
As an adult, Rick was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. He went on to create an award-winning film about ADHD, entitled ADD & Loving it?!
Rick’s projects have won Gemini Awards, ACTRA Awards, New York Festival Awards, and various educational awards. He was named to the Order of Canada in 2017 in recognition of his contributions to Canadian television as a comedian, actor and writer, and for his efforts to raise awareness and understanding of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
