Nearly 300 Sheridan students, staff and faculty joined the International Centre at the Davis Campus for a celebration of Holi – the festival of colours and fellowship – on Thursday, March 21.
Students and employees had the opportunity to learn about Holi and engage in conversations with others over snacks and chai, as well as take part in the highlight of the celebration: handprint art with organic holi colours to honour the start of spring.

“Celebration of Holi is a great way to make the campus feel more inclusive and to increase the sense of belonging. The celebration fills one’s life with the colours of happiness, whereas it may have only been black and white.”
“It was a great and real pleasure celebrating Holi with the community. We were missing India on this day badly. Thank you to the team for arranging the event. It was a wonderful day!”
