“New technology is common, new thinking is rare.” - Sir Peter Blake
We are reconnecting IT. Building on past experiences and lessons learned, we are looking to refresh and evolve our service culture into one that provides a more positive and predictable experience to users across the College.
To that end, we have been working on an ambitious service management strategy, based on industry best practices, which will more closely align IT services with the needs of the Sheridan community.
Attend a Reconnect Session
Beginning the week of April 7, IT will be hosting ‘Reconnect’ sessions at each campus. We invite the College community to join us for light refreshments and presentations from IT’s service leaders about our strategy and goals, including:
- IT agility and transparency
- Improved communication and protection of services through a formal Change Management process
- Development of a comprehensive service catalogue
We want to hear from you
Your participation and feedback are integral components to these sessions. We want to know what’s important to you and how IT impacts you—good or bad. Sessions are scheduled as below. Please note that the presentation items for these sessions are scheduled to take up to about 45 minutes; we have allowed for lots of extra time for your comments and discussion.
