Human Resources and Payroll have been working towards making some operational changes to ensure recommendations of our financial auditors are realised. As part of an initial phase, effective July 1, 2013 the Payroll team has moved from Human Resources to Financial Services, where they will continue to be responsible for payroll processing for all employee groups as well as the administration of part time employee information. This change will begin the transition to achieve the appropriate segregation of duties. Please send all payroll information related to part-time employees to the Payroll department via interoffice mail.
The management of full time employee information will remain with Human Resources. Please send all full-time employee change information to the attention of Human Resources. In addition to managing the HR information for full-time employees, the HRIS team within HR will provide an analytical role to ensure the integrity of the data and confidential administration of HRIS records in accordance with Collective Agreements and related legislation. They will act as key participants in projects that provide opportunities to enhance the HRIS systems functionality for the College and support the future strategic vision of the College.
