It is with great pleasure that I inform you that Sandra Hornby has won the Ontario College Counsellors (OCC) Award of Excellence for Counselling. Sandra was nominated by members of the Counselling Team and the rights and responsibilities team at Sheridan. The OCC is made up of counsellors from across all colleges in Ontario.
Sandra’s commitment to students and their success is well known throughout Student Services and the entire Sheridan community. She has played an important role model for many of us and contributed in so many ways to college community and student services throughout her career. Her award nomination highlighted her professionalism, leadership and approachability which we have all seen and experienced on a day-to-day basis, as such this award is well deserved and well earned!
Sandra received her award at OCC Annual Meeting/Conference on May 12. Congrats again Sandra!
