In light of the devastating floods affecting Serbia and the Balkans, donations of non-perishable items will be accepted on campus this week. Bins will be set up at the Sheridan Student Union at the Davis, Trafalgar, and HMC Campuses. Bins may also be found at Sheridan security offices at all four campuses.
Donations of non-perishable items can be made from Monday June 2 – Friday, June 6. After this time, the items will be delivered to the Canadian Serbian Chamber of Commerce, which will arrange for their shipment overseas.
Below is a suggested list of items that are required:
- baby food and diapers
- non-perishable, non-expired food items (canned meats, canned tuna and salmon, peanut butter, jelly (no glass), canned or dry soups, canned stews and chili, tea bags, coffee (ground no beans), canned pasta, canned vegetables, canned fruits, canned pasta, hot and cold cereals, rice, canned beans, etc.)
