Susan Shepley is the Librarian for Scholarly Engagement and Applied Research. In this new role Susan will work with the Office of Undergraduate Research, the Centre for Teaching & Learning and Institutional Research. She will work with faculty, staff and students across Sheridan to identify and enhance opportunities for the development of research experiences and skills within and outside of curriculum. This position builds on the work Susan completed during her recent secondment with the Faculty of Business during which she supervised seven student research assistants as part of a faculty-led research project that focused on experiential learning and new models for business education. Before joining Sheridan in 2011 as the Liaison Librarian to the Faculty of Business, Susan held positions as Social Sciences & Humanities Librarian at McMaster University and as Distance Education Librarian at the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science & Technology. Susan will begin her new role once a new Business Librarian is in place.

Jamie Goodfellow is the new First Year Librarian and she will be joining the Sheridan Library team on July 2. In this new position, Jamie will play a key role in developing the First Year Library Program (FLP) team initiatives to support our first year students across all campuses and faculties.  She will be working with faculty, staff and students to provide academic supports that enhance and develop academic skills related to academic integrity, research, writing and math.  Jamie has previously worked as a Reference and Instructional Librarian at Western University in a variety of programs including Engineering, Political Science, Public Administration, Management & Organizational Studies, Psychology, Physical Sciences, Economics and Nursing.
