Important information regarding Sheridan’s grant application approval process:

1.  All external applications for applied research funding must go through Sheridan Undergraduate Research (SURe).

2.  All interested parties must secure the approval of their Dean prior to working on any application.

3.  Expressions of Interest Forms signed by the appropriate Dean should then be sent to Darren Lawless so that approval from the Provost is secured prior to work beginning on the application. Please also remember that all plans to proceed with any of these grants must be approved by Executive before they can be submitted.

4. Once approved, SURe is ready and willing to assist with the proposal preparation.

5. Internal Letter of Intent and Application deadlines are generally two weeks in advance of deadlines published in the NSERC Call for Proposals deadlines noted above.
