Picture This – Owen Colborne, a technologist in the Bachelor of Photography program at Sheridan, photographed 25 of his colleagues in their work environments. Some of those photos are now hanging in the B-Wing hallway at Trafalgar, and his work has inspired an “Everyday Hero” series of blog posts coming to Curiosities in the fall.
Insights from a Google Intern – Third-year Bachelor of Design student Fiona Yeung spent her summer in California working as an intern at Google. She was part of the Google+ Core Team working with Google’s new Material Design language and she even had the opportunity to design a Google Doodle.
Shorts Lead to Big Accomplishments for Two Recent Grads – Friends and recent Sheridan Bachelor of Animation grads, Colin Lepper and Tyler Novo, had their short films featured in the Shorts That Are Not Pants festival in Toronto in July. They both found work directly out of school and have had productive summers getting their careers in animation off the ground.
