On behalf of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, we would like to congratulate Bob Small on his retirement from Sheridan College. Bob began teaching for Sheridan in 1974 after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) degree from the University of Guelph. Bob had the opportunity to teach and develop curriculum for many years in the Academic Upgrading Program servicing students at both the Davis and Skills Training Centre campuses. He also taught dual credit students through the School-Within-A-College (SWAC) program – a joint initiative between the Dufferin-Peel Catholic School Board and Sheridan. Additionally, on behalf of Sheridan, Bob delivered life skills curriculum to many not-for-profit agencies in Halton and Peel for the “Open the Door to Better Futures Program” as well as Angela’s Place (Salvation Army). We wish Bob the best in his future endeavors and thank him for his dedicated service and commitment to Sheridan. Bob on behalf of the Faculty, and your AU and FHASS colleagues, congratulations and all the very best in your retirement.
