HalTech’s main office is located at the Sheridan Trafalgar Campus. These events are a part of an ongoing collaboration between HalTech and Sheridan to help foster innovation and entrepreneurship on campus.

This event offers students and staff the opportunity to mingle with current and future members of Halton’s business community.

Entrepreneur of the Year Award
HalTech supports entrepreneurship and will be shining a spotlight on inspiring local entrepreneurs this November during Entrepreneurship Week.
On Monday September 8th, HalTech will begin to accept applications for their ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ awards which recognizes entrepreneurs in the community making great strides in the technology and advanced manufacturing sector.
Three awards will be handed out this fall for the Best Up-and-Coming Company, Best Growth Company and the People’s Choice– Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
The People’s Choice award will go to an entrepreneur under the age of 29 who displays innovative ideas and business practices. The award will be voted on by the people, based on video pitches submitted by the applicants.
This is a great opportunity for students to showcase their ideas and gain exposure within the larger business community. All three winners will receive a prestigious award crafted by Sheridan’s own Glass Blowing Department. In addition, the People’s Choice Award winner will receive a $5000 cash prize.
Spread the word as submissions will only be accepted until October 22.
