Living the Disney Dream – Animating at Disney was a dream of third-year Bachelor of Animation student Omar Elhindi since he was a child. This summer, not only did he have the opportunity to intern at the world-renowned animation studio, but he was mentored by one of his animation idols.

The Secret to Being a Tech Hero – Emiliano “Emi” Paternostro solves technical problems with creative solutions in his day-to-day work as a Mac Technologist. He is the mastermind behind the technical production of the first-ever, global virtual choir performance at Sheridan.

Crafting a Legacy – Since 1995, Rob Diemart has been the technologist in Sheridan’s Furniture Studio. He maintains the equipment in the studio and mentors students in all years of the program, drawing from his own experiences as a furniture designer.

Keeping Students in Focus – Bachelor of Photography technologist Carlos Garcia has experienced the changes in the program first-hand; his office is located in what used to be a dark room. He helps students understand the array of tools and software that they will use in the program.

The Art of Keeping Students Current – Ken Walker has been working at Sheridan for almost three decades and has seen his share of changes in technology for the Computer Animation program. He works to keep students connected to the tools and equipment that they need to succeed in the program, ensuring they are in line with industry standards.
