If you’d like to learn a bit more about entrepreneurship, or if you’re thinking about setting up your own venture, we’ve got some great news for you! Sheridan’s Entrepreneurship & Small Business program has teamed up with MaRS to provide live streaming of the MaRS Entrepreneurship 101 Video Series every Wednesday at all Sheridan campuses from 6 pm – 7 pm.
MaRS Entrepreneurship 101 is Canada’s largest live and online entrepreneurship lecture series, with more than 35,000 people attending the weekly sessions last year. Topics include: finding and validating your idea, funding your business, value proposition, marketing, sales, recruiting, pitching to investors, intellectual property, and much more, including special “meet the entrepreneurs” and “lived it” sessions.
Anyone in our Sheridan community interested in learning more about entrepreneurship, looking to start-up a new venture, or meeting with other current and future entrepreneurs are welcome to join in the live stream viewing and networking at these locations:
- Hazel McCallion Campus – Room A323
- Davis Campus – Room H103
- Trafalgar Road Campus – Room B124
Live Streaming starts promptly at 6 pm and ends at 7 pm each Wednesday evening.
The next MaRS Entrepreneurship 101 session will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, and the series will run weekly (with breaks on holidays) until the last session on May 6, 2015.
No registration (or fee) is required to drop-into the live streaming locations at Sheridan. All sessions are recorded and are made available on the MaRS website after the session.
For more information, to view missed sessions on demand, or to register for a free non-credit attendance Certificate, visit the MaRS website for more information.
See you there!
