The Art of the Sheridan Pit – Second-year Journalism Broadcast student Lia Nardone created a “Thinglink” (an interactive graphic with pop-ups) to showcase what goes on at the Sheridan Art Pit in the A-Wing at Trafalgar.

Combining a Love for Sports and Science – Jordan Williams has interned as an athletic therapist on a women’s basketball team, a men’s soccer team and over the summer was a stretcher-bearer for the FIFA Under 20 Women’s World Cup in Toronto.

The Everyday Hero series showcases some of Sheridan’s faculty and staff who contribute to student success. The first installment of the series features stories with photography by technologist Owen Colborne. Read the latest posts from the series here:

Three…two…one…and cue – A technologist in the Bachelor of Film and Television program, Souren Dermentjian teaches students how to use the equipment in the studio, teaches a course in Multi-Camera Production and maintains the department’s television production facility and Sheridan’s internal TV network.

Keeper of the Flame – Hugh Douglas-Murray graduated from Sheridan’s Ceramics program in 1995 and started working as a technologist here shortly thereafter. He maintains the equipment and a well-stocked supply room with over 350 different materials.

Setting the Stage for Success – The beautiful stage designs for Sheridan’s theatre productions are the result of work by students in the Technical Production for Theatre and Live Events program under the instruction of scenic art technologist Denise Lisson. She guides students from planning to construction to the finished product on stage for opening night.
