It is with mixed emotions that I announce that Elisabeth Rees-Johnstone has decided to leave Sheridan and will be joining OISE at the University of Toronto as the Executive Director of Continuing Education. Her last day at Sheridan will be November 7. Elisabeth’s contributions to FCAPS and Sheridan over the past year and a half have been extremely significant. She has driven the Faculty’s portfolio programming strategy, helped streamline the development process, established the process for enhancing customer experience, and has participated and collaborated on countless other initiatives that have laid the foundation of the re-imagined FCAPS. I know that Elisabeth’s commitment, insight, strategic and innovative thinking will be deeply missed by everyone who has worked with her.
On a personal level, I have thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with Elisabeth, and will miss her thoughtful input on strategic matters. While Elisabeth’s departure is a significant loss for FCAPS, her new role offers her excellent opportunities for professional and personal growth, and I know you will join me in congratulating her on her new position at the University of Toronto.
The recruitment for a new Associate Dean is underway.
