On July 30 and 31, the Hazel McCallion campus welcomed over 300 diploma students beginning this Fall for their first of two New Student Orientation sessions!
Students gained valuable knowledge related to their program structure and requirements, as well as how to build their new custom timetables. In addition to meeting other new students, attendees heard from Sheridan alumni and current Business students, met their Program Coordinator, and some of our great HMC staff.
Orientation is a valuable tool in helping students prepare to attend school in September. Over 95% of students said they felt better prepared for the start-of-term after attending our sessions!
All incoming Business diploma students are invited back to the Hazel McCallion campus on August 21 or 22 for their second Orientation session. Here they will:
- Receive information on the support services and resources available at Sheridan
- Have a chance to ask questions before starting classes
- Meet their Student Union
- Discover ways to get involved on campus
- Set up their laptop with the help of our helpful ITSC staff
This year we’re taking students online at Orientation by Live Tweeting during their sessions! Students and staff can join the conversation by following @sheridancollege and using #SherOrientation.
