November 1 is right around the corner and that means there will be some new faces around campus, or at least some changes to some faces. On November 1, members of the Sheridan Community will team together and grow moustaches to raise awareness, and to raise money for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and male mental health. For 30 days, men in the Sheridan Community will join thousands of “Mo Bros” across the country and around the world, and be walking (and talking) advertisements for the cause. The Sheridan staff team (SheridanMoBros) would like to invite all moustache lovers, growers and especially those who love to laugh at our new facial hair to start donating and raise awareness and money for this wonderful cause. Donations can be made to the SheridanMoBros through their team page: http://ca.movember.com/team/1708245. Donations can also be made to individual team members.
MoBro Rules as taken from http://ca.movember.com:
1) Once registered, each Mo Bro must begin the 1st of November with a clean shaven face.
2) For the entire month of November, each Mo Bro must grow and groom a mustache.
3) Don’t fake it. No beards, no goatees, no fake moustaches.
4) Use the power of the moustache to create conversations about men’s health and to raise funds for prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health.
5) Each Mo Bro must conduct himself like a true gentleman.
