The 2nd Annual Showcase of Teaching and Learning on October 23rd was a great success. The day was a wonderful opportunity to connect with colleagues and explore innovations in teaching and learning at Sheridan.
The Faculty Development team would like to thank those who presented their outstanding work in the Showcase Poster Session that included professors completing TLA3, select staff from Library and Learning Services, our talented partners in Digital Learning and Innovation, faculty returning from recent sabbaticals and representatives from the Aboriginal Initiatives Office.
Special thanks and appreciation is also extended to the faculty and staff members from across the college who took the time to develop and facilitate our Showcase workshop sessions. The sessions were extremely well received and demonstrated the amazing breadth of knowledge and experience here at Sheridan.
Finally, we hope you enjoyed keynote speaker Brian Thwaits, who challenged us to think a little differently, training our brains for maximum efficiency. Brian shared his sense of humour, stories and insights about whole brain teaching.
