“I want to ride my bicycle; I want to ride my bike.” Those were just some of the words sung by participants at the 2nd Annual Spin & Sing held on Friday, November 7, 2014.
From 1 pm to 4 pm in the SCAET Atrium, 44 riders took to their bikes in support of Theatre Sheridan’s Canadian Music Theatre Project (CMTP). A total of $14,000 was raised to fund creative activities for theatre students including their upcoming performance at the Lincoln Centre in New York on February 16, 2015.
Spinners were entertained by dynamic instructors, performances by fourth-year students, karaoke and music theatre trivia. Many of Sheridan’s partners also came out to support the event and spin for the afternoon including George Friedman Architect, Primary Response, KPMG and Meridian Credit Union.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the day a tremendous success including all of the spinners, supporters, and sponsors of the event.
See you next year!
