TIP TUESDAYS

The Child and Youth Worker and Social Service Worker Peer Mentors have created a TIP TUESDAY initiative. Tip Tuesdays are designed to provide students with brief tips to help them get through the rest of the term. This month the theme is Self-Care. Please check out the first video tip.

Faculty, please share the videos and other creative tips with your students. Here are a few suggestions on how to share these tips.

1) Every Tuesday, play a tip video at the beginning of your class. They are only about one minute long.
2) Post the Tips weekly on your Slate courses
3) If your program has a virtual community post the tips there
4) Does your program have a Facebook page or other social media that it uses? Share the tips on Facebook

Make Tuesdays one that students look forward to. Share a tip and brighten their day. These tips are “For students, by students.”
