You may have noticed holiday trees popping up around campus. However, they are not yet decorated as we’d like to get the Sheridan community involved this year. We thought we could set a goal of decorating (or completely covering) each tree with pairs of mittens for children and adults who are in need this holiday season.
We ask that when you are out doing your shopping, pick up a pair of mittens. Using the clothespins provided on the basket near each tree, hang your pair of mittens on the tree. When each tree is full, we will collect them and donate them to a local charity.
The trees can be found in the following locations:
Trafalgar – in front of the Security desk in the B-wing
Davis – Main entrance / Welcome Centre
HMC – Atrium across from the Welcome Desk
STC – Main entrance across from the Welcome Desk.
