Hundreds of Business, Applied Science and Technology students and Alumni attended the Biztech Career Fair on November 19 at the Davis Campus in Brampton.
This annual event provided students from the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology and the Pilon School of Business the opportunity to exercise their networking skills and explore career options within their field. Over 72 employers attended the fair including Apple, Reynolds and Reynolds, TD Bank, Sunlife Financial, Mosaic Marketing, Soti, TekSystems and Free the Children. Students were well prepared, dressed to impress and demonstrated all the right knowledge to land a job. Career Education provided a professional photographer on site to take professional headshots to enhance Sheridan students’ LinkedIn profiles, a crucial tool in their job search endeavors.
MAGNET also attended the fair and encouraged students to sign up for the free service. MAGNET is a new not-for-profit social initiative co‐founded by Ryerson University and the Ontario Chamber of Commerce. Through MAGNET employers find students based on skills and experience.
