It’s that time of year again: Sheridan’s 2nd annual Creative Writing Contest has begun! The Sheridan Creative Writing contest was created by a First Year Connections peer mentor who envisioned a contest that would be inclusive and engage the first year student population at all of our Sheridan campuses. Last year the contest resulted in college-wide student participation, encouraged creativity, and allowed the college to gain impactful insight into the first-year student experience. This year’s goal is to engage even more first-year students.
How can you help? Spread the word! We ask faculty and staff to encourage your students to enter the contest as a way to express their creativity, share their experiences, and gain a chance to win a prize.
