It’s time to exercise some creative thinking with respect to internationalization! Faculty members, staff members and students are invited to present your proposals to internationalize Sheridan for the President’s Creative Challenge 2014 – 2015. Submissions to this year’s challenge will be presented during one of two Internationalization mini-conferences. The mini-conferences will be held on April 20, 2015 at the Trafalgar campus and on May 1, 2015 at the Davis campus.

For those of you that aren’t familiar with this year’s Creative Challenge, this year’s theme is Internationalization: Envisioning Sheridan Without Borders. Sheridan’s international student population has grown to over 4,000 students strong. The challenge was put in place to acknowledge that internationalization is much more than recruiting international students to campus, and that as a community, we can broaden our approach to internationalization through myriad ways.

The President’s Creative Challenge is being coordinated by the International Services department. If you would like to discuss a possible proposal or would simply like more information, one of the members of this year’s coordinating committee would be pleased to meet with you.  To arrange a time to meet, please email us at pcchallenge@sheridancollege.ca.

Sign-up and participation details for the mini-conferences will be available in next week’s Insider.
