It’s spring cleaning time so get into your closets and see what you can part with to assist our students.
“First impressions count” and “dress for the job you want”. These are all things our students hear when they are getting ready for interviews. To assist our students in their employment endeavors, Career Education is hosting a business clothing drive
Between Monday, March 16 – Friday, March 27 bring us your gently used, modern and freshly cleaned business clothing hung on hangers.
Donation locations are as follows:
- Trafalgar – Career Centre D103
- HMC – Business Office Room 406
- Davis – Business Office Room 305
We’re looking for female and male fashion items that have been current within the past few years. The focus is on business attire for interviews and the launch of their careers so the following items are requested:
- Blouses
- Shirts
- Skirts/Dresses
- Dress pants
- Blazers
- Jackets for men
- Ties
- Accessories for women (i.e: dress scarves)
Sorry but we’re not looking for casual wear, sweaters, jeans etc…
During the week of March 30, the clothing sale will take place from 10-3pm on each campus:
Tuesday, March 31 – HMC Atrium
Wednesday, April 1 – Davis H-wing
Thursday, April 2 – Trafalgar B-wing
For $1.00 a piece, students can outfit themselves in professional business attire and all proceeds from the event will go to the Sheridan Student Emergency Fund.
