On March 6 and 7, seven students from the Paralegal Program of FAHCS competed in the 2015 Mock Trial Cup Competition held at the Oshawa Small Claims Court. Teams from Durham College, Seneca College, Algonquin College, Centennial College, Loyalist College and Fleming College also participated. Sheridan’s team defeated Seneca in round one, Algonguin in the semi-final and Durham College in the final, winning the competition! In addition, team member Rabia Mir won the Best Advocate Award.
Congratulations to team members Rabia Mir, Erica Watson, Amanda Vella, Megan Hazelton, Na Liu, Thomas Daley, and Sarah Murray. The coaches were Gargi Mukherji and Netta Romano from the Paralegal Program, School of Public Safety, FAHCS.
