Do you sometimes forget your password or forget to act on that third password expiry notice? Set your password hint and you will be able to do self-service password resets without needing to contact IT.
Setting Your Password Hint (first time)
If you have never set a password hint, after logging into AccessSheridan, you will see a box with the heading Set a Password Hint*. Follow the link to setup your personal password reset hint question and answer. The next time you need to reset your password, you will be able to use the Forgot your password/password expired? link on the AccessSheridan log-in page to reset your password—no need to call the IT Help Desk or visit the ITSC.
* You will not see this choice if you have set your hint previously.
Changing Your Password Hint
To change your password hint, log-in to AccessSheridan and follow the link ‘Change Password Reset Hint’ (found near the bottom of the page under the heading Account Utilities).
