CIRA is a Canadian organization that manages .CA domain names and develops policies that support Canada’s Internet community. Established in 1998, CIRA’s mission is to ensure that .CA domain names are secure, reputable and represent Canada on an international scale. CIRA advocates for the direction of the Internet in Canada.
CIRA is driven by a 12-member Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is directly involved in strategy and policy development for .CA domains and the governance of the Internet in Canada. The CIRA Board of Directors’ competition is underway, and one of our own is a strong contender to fill an open seat.
