Home Movie Day is an international event sponsored by the Centre for Home Movies that seeks to educate people about film preservation, local history and personal storytelling. As part of its ongoing Film for Thought series, Sheridan College will be hosting a Home Movie Day on November 21st for the Peel, Halton and Hamilton-Wentworth regions at the Mississauga Public Library (1pm-4pm). The event invites both individuals and local community organizations to unearth and unpack their home movies for inspection, repair and screening, with a focus on 16mm, 8mm, and Super8 films.
We hope you will be able to join us for Home Movie Day, which is a celebration of film, local history and community building!
