Did you know that Sheridan has policies in place prohibiting discrimination and harassment in all of its forms?

The Centre for Equity and Inclusion (CEI) at Sheridan responds to employee and student inquiries, concerns and complaints relating to breaches of provincial human rights legislation, and/or Sheridan human rights or workplace harassment policies.

Sheridan’s Harassment and Discrimination and Workplace Harassment policies can be found here and here. The procedures for resolving complaints of harassment and discrimination can be found here.

The CEI ensures all issues brought forward are handled fairly and expeditiously in a manner that safeguards due process and confidentiality.

If you believe you are experiencing discrimination and harassment of any type, you can contact your supervisor, your union, or the Manager, Human Rights and Workplace Harassment, Centre for Equity and Inclusion, at marla.terreberryportfilio@sheridancollege.ca or ext. 2915 to discuss options for resolution.

Sheridan is committed to upholding and promoting the values of respect, equity, and inclusion across its campuses. We believe it is the shared responsibility of all of our community members to respect the dignity, worth, and human rights of all individuals.
