On Tuesday February 16th, the Student Recruitment Team held a Future Student and Family Information Session at the Hazel McCallion Campus. The event for prospective students and their families provided an opportunity to learn about Sheridan programs, their credentials and the supports that are available for informed decision-making.
Presenters included: Chris Treschak, Recruitment Manager; Suzanne Garces, Financial Aid; Margaret Groombridge, Student Affairs; Darlene Charette, Simone Birthwright and Margaret Bawtinheimer, HMC Recruitment Team. In addition, Samuel Morin shared his decision-making process and personal story as a third year student in the Bachelor of Animation program.
Prior to the presentation, Admission support was provided by Shirley Chan and Gillian Crammond.
Our guests included both high school students and adult learners. Their feedback was very positive with everyone indicating that it was a useful step in their research into post-secondary education options.
