Beginning April 4th until approximately June 30th, Facilities Services will be constructing a new exterior service ramp into the basement level of C-Wing at the Trafalgar Campus (please refer to this map for ramp location). Construction crews are scheduled to be on site during regular work day hours, 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday. Some after-hours work may be executed in order to achieve project milestones and completion schedule.
The project is mostly exterior work and therefore will not interfere with the regular operations of the adjacent buildings (E-wing & C-Wing). Minimal interior work is associated with this project and will be contained in the C-Wing basement, separate from public and common space.
Temporary hoarding and barriers will be placed surrounding the exterior work site to separate the construction zone from rest of the campus and adjacent roadway. Appropriate detour signage will be installed at any affected emergency exits. Note that the construction site will be strictly off limits to unauthorized individuals so that work can progress in a safe and efficient manner.
As with all construction projects, there will be typical construction related noise and temporary inconveniences. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated and go a long way in helping our contractors to complete this project in a professional and timely manner.
