Effective today, Sheridan is switching its mobile parking provider to from QuickPay/Locomobi to HonkMobile. This will allow for a seamless integration with our new parking portal launching in August, which was announced in last week’s edition of the Insider.
The app will provide the Sheridan community and campus visitors the convenience of using their mobile device to pay for hourly and daily parking at Davis, Trafalgar and the Skills Training Centre campuses.
How does it work?
Users download the free app and create an account with their vehicle information, then choose their desired parking zone and duration. Sheridan’s hourly ($3), daily ($10 flat) or evening ($5 flat) parking rates apply, and a $0.25 service fee is added per transaction (the fee was $0.35 with the former provider). Payment options are VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Pay Pal account. Users receive an alert 15 minutes prior to the end of their parking session, allowing the opportunity to top-up before it expires.
The launch of HonkMobile is the first of many changes and improvements in parking services being implemented at Sheridan this summer. It will complement Sheridan’s new parking portal launching in August (through parking.sheridancollege.ca).
