With exams around the corner, students may be inquiring about grades or academic standing. If students are considering dropping classes or withdrawing from their program, they are encouraged to connect with a Student Advisor in the Student Services Centre to discuss their options.
The last day to drop a class without academic penalty for 14-week regular session classes is Friday July 29th (and August 5th for compressed session B courses). Classes dropped by this date will be represented by a ‘W’ grade, which will not affect the student’s Grade Point Average (GPA). Failure to meet GPA expectations can result in academic probation or may not continue status.
Student Advisors are available to discuss student options in person, over the phone, or via email:

It is important that students recognize it is their responsibility to be familiar with their academic status and GPA requirements for their program. Students can review their academic progress, final grades, and official academic standing by visiting myStudentCentre.sheridancollege.ca. Official grades and academic standing for the Spring 2016 semester will be posted on August 30th, 2016.
