The SLATE Team is excited to announce new changes for SLATE coming on August 29, 2016.
1. A major interface revision for SLATE and the first revision of language used in SLATE. Highlights include:
- Colour scheme
- Menu items
- Navigation
- Widget changes
- Dropbox changes to Assignments
- News changes to Announcements
2. We are excited to announce a new trial to test the Grades Exporter – Beta Widget. The Grades Export Widget is a continuing effort to streamline the process of transferring Grades from SLATE to the Office of the Registrar – Grade Roster. This instructor only widget will automate all of the steps required to prepare an exported Grade Book from SLATE for upload to the Grade Roster.
3. We are excited to announce the first integrated component in SLATE from our Sheridan Library Partners – Films on Demand. It is one of Sheridan’s streaming video databases.
4. The SLATE Team is announcing updates and changes to the Respondus Lockdown Browser integration in SLATE. Respondus Lockdown Browser is a product designed to assist in preventing cheating during proctored online exams.
