This past May and June, 26 students from Bachelors programs in Illustration, Animation, Photography, Interior Design and Crafts & Design participated in Sheridan Bachelor Programs @Italy, a unique study abroad opportunity. See below for photos.
Currently on view in the A wing Showcase hallway, is the process and production of their amazing efforts.
Based in Florence, the group explored the museums, pallazos, market places and private studios of Florence, Rome, Bologna and the Tuscan countryside before ending the 35 day adventure in Venice- investigating the historical heritage of the sights, but with an emphasis on the resulting contemporary and vibrant culture.
Italian Art and Culture is a degree breadth elective directed by Clemente Botelho (BA Illustration) with co-faculty Tony Tarantini (BA Animation).
An information session for the 2017 Course trip will be held Wednesday October 19 at 6:30 pm in Rm B124.
