Region of Peel – Sustainable Transportation Survey

Clik here to view.

By 2041, the population in the Region of Peel is projected to grow by nearly 40%, increasing from slightly over 1.3 million people today to nearly 2 million people. The Region would face further increases to traffic related congestion, infrastructure demand, health concerns, and environmental issues, unless a transportation system is available to fully realize the potential of walking, cycling, transit, and carpooling to manage demand. Peel is developing a sustainable transportation strategy to enable and encourage more people to choose to travel in these modes.

A survey has been designed to collect feedback from all the stakeholders. If you live in the Region of Peel and/or commute to our campuses in Mississauga and Brampton, you are invited to fill out their online survey https://peelsts.metroquest.ca/

If you know anyone who is interested in Peel’s transportation issues and the future of the transportation system in the region, please feel free to ask them to fill out the survey. The survey closes at the end of March.
