The Call for Proposals deadline for Sheridan Creates has just been extended to Monday, January 30th, 2017 at NOON. It’s easy!
Our faculty are doing some pretty amazing things – come explore the future of research, creativity and innovation at Sheridan on March 1st, 2017! This exciting day-long event during Reading Week in the winter semester will celebrate and explore some of the cutting-edge scholarship and teaching at Sheridan across disciplines and faculties. It’s a chance for you to join the conversation and find out about many of our upcoming initiatives related to Scholarship, Research and Creative Activities (SRCA).

This year, we’re recognizing teaching and learning innovations as a central part of SRCA priorities. Two keynote speakers will bookend our creative thinking for the day:
- Dr. David Pace, Emeritus Professor of European History at Indiana University, president of the International Society for Teaching and Learning in History, and previous fellow of the Carnegie Academy for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning shares his approach of “decoding the disciplines” in the morning
- As part of the Creative Campus Series, our afternoon keynote speaker is Ben Weinlick, Founder of Think Jar Collective and Senior Leader of Research and Social Innovation at SKILLS Society in Canada
