It is with mixed feelings that I announce that after 32 years of dedicated service, Nancy Hood has decided to retire from Sheridan College. Her last day at work will be June 28, 2013.
Nancy joined Sheridan on October 5, 1981 after graduating from Sheridan. During her career at Sheridan, Nancy has worked in a number of capacities and has been a member of the Financial Services department for many years working in the Accounts Payable team and later accepting the position of Accounts Receivable Refund Clerk.
Nancy is a major contributor in the success of the student refund team. Nancy works tirelessly to ensure student refunds are processed accurately and on time. More importantly, her willingness to share her vast knowledge with other employees in the department is much appreciated by her colleagues and the College community.
A retirement reception will be held in Nancy’s honour on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the President’s Boardroom at Trafalgar. Please join us to wish Nancy a long, happy and healthy retirement.
