Sheridan will be hosting the official opening of HMC II on March 24, from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.
Donors, supporters and community/corporate volunteers have been invited to experience the building where creativity meets sustainability. Interactive exhibits and refreshments will be available for guests to enjoy followed by formal remarks, a ribbon cutting and building tours.
The event will be held in the Creative Campus space on both the first and second floors of the building.
We do expect students, faculty and staff accessing the other floors will have to move through the event. We will make every effort to ensure you can do so with ease. Please note that the first floor Creativity Commons will be set up for the formal remarks. This student gathering space will be available after 12:00 p.m.
From 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., the City of Mississauga’s North Lot (located directly behind HMC II) will be reserved for the 200 + guests we are expecting. It will re-open to the public after 12:00 p.m.
Please note: Sheridan students and employees who park at the City’s North Lot are invited to park at the Cineplex theatre lot, free of charge, the day of the event. From 8:00 a.m. through 12:00 p.m., an attendant will be on site at the theatre lot’s entrance to issue a one-day permit, valid until 6:00 p.m. to students and employees who show their valid OneCard ID.
