We are excited that the Medicine Wheel Garden  is completing its hardscape installation outside J wing at the Trafalgar campus. A variety of trees, shrubs, wildflowers and grasses were planted in the perimeter gardens this past weekend. More planting will be done this couple of weeks. We are now looking for planting volunteers to help us complete some final planting work. No prior experience is needed. Volunteers will be working alongside with a professional landscaper and two experienced planting educators from Oakvillegreen. Students, faculty and staff are all welcome. Please sign up online early. Volunteer spots are limited.

The design of Sheridan Medicine Wheel Garden was suggested by The Centre for Indigenous Learning and Support. The medicine wheel symbolizes our connection with the circle of life in the universe. The garden includes the sacred Indian plants and a variety of native pollinator-friendly plants.
