Computer Systems Technology – Software Development and Network Engineering alumni Shauna-Kay Jones and Keisha Alcott are the co-founders of Motify, a virtual platform to support people on the autism spectrum. From a pool of more than 200 entries, Motify has been selected as one of 10 finalists for the William G. Davis Innovation Fund and is eligible for the $10,000 grand prize and $5,000 second prize. The fund was created by Colleges Ontario in honour of the 50th anniversary of the Ontario college system and supports innovative thinking and initiatives from aspiring visionaries, artists, humanitarians or entrepreneurs.
Votes from the public are factored into the judges’ selection criteria. You can cast your vote online here until November 5 or vote in person at the traveling exhibit coming to Trafalgar Campus (outside of SCAET) on October 2.
