I am very pleased to announce that Tina Kotsiomitis has joined the FCAPS team in the role of Interim Associate Dean, Continuing and Professional Studies. Tina brings a wealth of experience in education and management gained from her work in both the secondary and post-secondary systems in Canada and Australia. Most recently, Tina held the position of Manager, Academic Partnerships at Centennial College where she was responsible for the administration and operation of an array of academic partnerships and programs. Tina holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business, York University.
In her spare time, Tina is an avid sports enthusiast. She actively participates in rugby, football, and rowing, and she is a former member of the Ontario Junior Rugby Team.
Tina’s home office is in the FCAPS office (room B320c) at the Hazel McCallion Campus. She can be reached at extension 4349. She will be starting with us on Monday December 4th. Please join me in extending a warm Sheridan welcome to Tina.
On behalf of the FCAPS team, I also want to express deep appreciation and thanks to Marcela Velez-Pulgarin who has been providing coverage for the Associate Dean role since September. Owing to Marcela’s diligent and thoughtful management, the Continuing and Professional Studies area has continued to progress and flourish during the transition. Marcela will resume her former responsibilities as Program Manager effective immediately. Sincere thanks to Marcela for a job well done!
