Over the past year, we have been celebrating Sheridan’s 50th anniversary with great pride, through multiple events and initiatives for our internal and external communities.
History professors Dr. Peter Kikkert and Dr. Christian Knudsen were awarded a Scholarship, Research and Creative Activities growth grant to conduct extensive research into Sheridan’s history, which greatly helped inform our community celebrations.
One key deliverable from their work is a special social documentary on the history of Sheridan, based on interviews with alumni, employees, and special guests. An early cut of the video was screened at our 50th anniversary community celebration on October 2, 2017.
