As a global citizen, Sheridan embraces sustainability in our everyday activities and operations. We encourage everyone to consider alternative transportation options for commuting to campus, which include carpooling, taking public transit, cycling and walking. Choosing these various transportation modes is beneficial to our personal health and wellness. As well, our daily sustainable action can help the city relieve its traffic congestion problem and reduce its greenhouse gas emissions.
Here is an opportunity for you to help the environment while winning yourself a prize at the same time. Smart Commute’s carpool week will be held next week from February 5th to February 11. During this period, you can visit the Smart Commute online tool to join Sheridan College’s network, and log at least one carpool trip for a chance to win $500 VIA Rail Vouchers.
