Documentaries with a difference
In honour of International Women’s Day, we celebrate Sheridan alumna Chanda Chevannes, pictured, (Media Arts’01), who is turning her filmmaker’s lens on social issues around the world. From activists fighting fracking in New York to women raising awareness about cancer and HIV in Africa, the subjects of Chevannes’ award-winning films show the heartache as well as the victories.
