I’m pleased to announce that Daniel Liao has accepted a seconded position to the role of Associate Dean for our School of Skilled Trades and Apprenticeship.
A Chemical Engineer by trade, Daniel has been with Sheridan for three years as the Chemical Lab Manager supporting FAST’s School of Applied Chemical and Environmental Sciences. In his role as Lab Manager, Daniel has enjoyed a number of notable successes, namely, supporting the significant development of applied research within the school while ensuring smooth lab operations during a period of explosive student growth and laboratory expansion. I’m especially appreciative of Daniel’s success integrating students into chemical and environmental science research, and his focus on providing students with an excellent experience in the laboratories.
Beyond his technical expertise in industrial settings, and management experience within Sheridan, I’m excited about the community focus and entrepreneurial spirit that Daniel embodies. He was voted one of Brampton’s ‘Top 40 Under 40’ by the Brampton Board of Trade in 2017.
